My research focuses on social aspects of global sexual and reproductive health, particularly of young people. I also conduct some research in other areas of public health. My current research includes: young people's sexual practices in the UK, community participation in health, public involvement in health research. In previous work I've looked at young people's sexual behaviour, sexual health education, contraception (particularly emergency contraception), abortion, and birthspacing.
